Can a Fuel Delivery Company Offer Memberships and Add-Ons?
Yes. Blink Fuel's heating-oil page lists memberships, delivery fees and add-ons. You set the offer and the prices.1 Decide what a customer would actually buy before you describe your membership.
Write the offer before you set it up
Draft a short sample offer for the demo. State the service, the customer it is for and what it includes. Leave the price blank until you have reviewed your costs and terms.
The product page describes a monthly membership that you design.2 Ask the presenter to show how your sample offer would look to a customer. Have the person who runs service confirm your team can deliver what the wording says.
Keep the membership apart from the fuel order
Blink Fuel also supports recurring delivery for customers who want a repeating fill.3 Ask how that schedule relates to your membership. Do not assume a membership creates a delivery, or that a recurring delivery includes a membership.
Ask to see the setup on both the customer and office screens. List any rule that needs a business decision before launch.
Review customer messages
Operators can send coupons and push messages to one customer or the whole list.4 Ask to preview the wording for your sample offer. Keep real customer messages under your own approval.
Will an add-on raise revenue by itself?
No. Use your own demand and cost numbers. Blink Fuel's site makes no revenue or profit promise.5 An add-on you can sell is not a result.
What about cancellation, renewal and refunds?
Have your agreement reviewer set the customer terms. Then ask the presenter to show the software steps that would support them. Renewal, cancellation and refund controls are not covered by the published statements, so confirm each one.
Who should approve the offer?
The person who sets prices, the person who does the work and the person who reviews customer terms. Settle their questions before the sample becomes a live offer.
Next step
Book a demo and ask to review a sample membership and add-on on the customer and office screens.
