What is on-demand fuel delivery software?

On-demand fuel delivery software is the app and dispatch system a fuel company uses to take gasoline or diesel orders and send a truck to a car, truck, or job site. Blink Fuel is that software, sold under your brand. Blink Fuel does not deliver the fuel itself.

This page is for fuel-company owners and operators who want a national, branded mobile fueling business. It is not a local service page for one town. If you want fuel delivered to your own car, you order from a company that runs on this software, not from Blink Fuel.

How does a branded fuel delivery app work?

A customer opens your app, picks gasoline or diesel, sets a place and time, and pays in the app. Your dispatch board gets the order. A driver gets the stop on a phone, drives the route, and marks the drop complete. You keep the brand, the customer list, and the record.

The loop is the same one you already know from other on-demand trades. The difference is the cargo: fuel. The customer never has to sit in a station line. A fleet manager never has to send a truck off-route just to fill up. Your driver does the fill at the vehicle.

Blink Fuel supplies the customer app, the driver app, routing, dispatch, and payments as a working platform. That is the job of the software. You still own the trucks, the fuel, the insurance, and the people. See the Blink Fuel features page for the ordering, routing, dispatch, and payment tools that ship with the platform.

Orders can be on-demand (come now) or scheduled (come at this window). The features list also includes recurring and subscription delivery, so a fleet that wants the same fill every week does not have to call it in each time.

Who is this software for?

It is for fuel companies, fleet fueling operators, and people starting a mobile gasoline or diesel delivery business under their own name. It is sold to businesses, not to consumers. Blink Fuel is not a fuel retailer and not a franchise office that hands you a territory.

If you already sell gasoline or diesel, this is a way to take orders on a phone and send a truck, without giving the customer list to a national network. If you are starting from zero, this is the software layer. You still have to line up trucks, product, insurance, and local permission. Software does not skip those steps.

Two audiences get mixed up on fuel-delivery sites. Path one is the operator buying software. Path two is a driver or car owner who wants a fill. This page is path one. Consumer order flow lives in the branded app you launch, not on blinkfuel.com.

What does Blink Fuel include?

Blink Fuel is the whole on-demand fuel business in a box: Tank Spotter, Custom Fuel App, and a custom website. It is not a partial add-on. The platform is the customer ordering app, the driver tools, and the site your name sits on.

The customer app is white-label. It carries your logo, your colors, and your company name. It is listed in the iOS App Store and Google Play under your brand. Customers see you, not Blink Fuel. That is the point of owning the tech instead of renting a network name.

The driver side covers routing and delivery completion. Dispatch can assign, track, and watch driver activity. Route tools pick an efficient path. An admin dashboard is the office view of orders, pricing, and reporting. Payments run in the app. Push notices cover confirmation, dispatch, and delivery. Live tracking shows the order from start to finish.

Support and system updates are part of the ongoing service. Encrypted payments and secure data handling are on the features list. Do not read that as a legal guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong. It is the security posture the product page states.

How is this different from a franchise or a from-scratch build?

A franchise or aggregator typically takes a cut and keeps the customer under its brand. A from-scratch build means you fund the app, the stores, the dispatch board, and years of upkeep. Blink Fuel is licensed software. You keep the brand, the customers, and the margin. There are no franchise fees and no per-delivery share to a network.

That is the honest split. A franchise can still be the right path if you want a packaged playbook and a known consumer name. A custom build can still be the right path if you have a software team and years to wait. Most fuel operators do not. They need a working app, a driver phone, and a board they can run on Monday.

Compare those paths on the existing pages: platform versus building it yourself and platform versus a franchise model. This explainer does not re-run those tables. It answers what the software is so you can read those pages with a clear definition.

If you are still choosing a platform, use the sibling guide How to choose a fuel delivery app. It is the buyer checklist: brand, records, driver tools, and what setup actually includes.

What fuels can customers order?

This site is for gasoline and diesel. That is the fuel-sensitive audience for Blink Fuel. The features page also lists DEF and heating oil as fuel types the application can take.

Your own product mix is still your business. If you only run diesel for fleets, that is a setup choice, not a different SKU. If you add DEF for the same trucks, the ordering app is the same platform. Do not assume a fuel type is live in your instance until you have seen it on a demo of your own build.

What does Blink Fuel not do?

Blink Fuel does not deliver fuel. It does not sell you customers, accounts, territories, or locations. It does not promise revenue. It is not a franchise and not a business-opportunity pitch. Results depend on your market, your equipment, your costs, and your execution.

The software also does not replace a fuel license, a hazmat endorsement, insurance, or a local permit. Those sit with you and with the current code text in your state and city. For how order and completion records fit that job, read What records does a mobile fuel delivery business keep?
